Model S and Model X owners often replace rear tires far ahead of schedule, sometimes in as little as a year. From the factory, both cars run slight negative rear camber. Tesla does this on purpose: it gives the car its planted, direct feel. The tradeoff is the tire carries more load on its inner edge, and combined with the car's weight and infrequent rotations, the inner tread wears out early.

Most cars have no rear camber adjustment built in. These TruHart adjustable rear camber arms add that adjustment, so your alignment shop can dial out some of the factory negative camber and bring the rear wheels closer to vertical. The load spreads across the whole tread and wear returns to normal. We include our recommended alignment specs with every order.
