How It Started
A Side Gig That Became The Whole Thing
Ride Rite started as a side gig. I was working at Tesla at the time and wanted extra money to feed my track car and my track day habit, so I began installing coilovers for friends and family on the side. The brand color comes from my own car: our yellow is Millennium Yellow, the factory shade off my Corvette. A little corny, but true.
What started as side money didn't stay that way for long. I loved the work, and in the summer of 2025 I went all in and turned Ride Rite into a real business.
How Tesla Became Our Niche
From Coilovers To Tesla Specialist
Before Ride Rite, I spent five years at Tesla. I moved out to the Bay Area in 2020 to join the company, and I loved my time there. So when friends started asking me to work on their cars, Teslas were a natural fit, and they quickly became my specialty. Coilover installs grew into full aftermarket parts installation, then into Tesla service and repair, and eventually into something I am proud to call myself: a Tesla suspension specialist.
I have worked on just about every make and model out there, but Teslas are where I live. I know their weak points, I know what they get right, and I genuinely love the cars. A lot of what we do is help owners take a great platform and make it even better.

Ride Rite is a service business, and I am proud of that. I am not running from the trade, I am trying to fix how it gets run.
Early in my career I left the shops I worked at, not because I disliked the work, but because of how those shops treated the people doing it: low pay, high expectations, tough conditions. That is what sent me to Tesla. But I kept coming back to one idea, that mobile auto service could be done in a way that works for everyone. The customer gets high quality work that is fast, convenient, and affordable. The business stays lean and honest. And the people doing the work are paid and treated the way they should be. Solving that model is the whole reason Ride Rite exists.
Where We Are Headed
Right now we serve the San Francisco Bay Area. The plan is to grow across California, and eventually back to the East Coast, near where I grew up in New Jersey. For now, if you are in the Bay Area and your Tesla could use some attention, we will come to you.
