Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about RideRite mobile suspension & brake service in the Bay Area.

Mobile Service
Where does the mobile service take place?+

We come to you! We can perform mobile suspension and brake services in your driveway, private garage, apartment parking lot, office parking lot, or any safe, flat surface with enough space to work around the vehicle. We do not have a shop location for customer drop-offs.

What areas do you serve?+

We serve the greater San Francisco Bay Area and beyond — from San Jose and the South Bay, across the East Bay, and up through the North Bay including areas like Vallejo and Martinez. If you're in the extended Bay Area region, there's a good chance we can come to you. Reach out and we'll confirm coverage for your location!

What is the minimum charge for a mobile service visit?+

Our minimum is 1 hour of labor plus a travel fee based on your location. Message us with your address for a quick quote!

Is there a travel fee?+

Travel fees depend on your distance from our service hub. Message us with your location for a quick quote.

Do you only work on Teslas?+

Not at all! While we specialize in Teslas and enthusiast vehicles, we work on all makes and models. If you have a question about your specific vehicle, just reach out.

Do you install customer-supplied parts?+

Absolutely! We are happy to install parts you've already purchased. Just let us know what you have and we'll confirm compatibility and schedule your appointment.

Do you offer wheel alignments?+

Due to our mobile nature, we are unable to perform wheel alignments on-site. However, after a suspension installation or adjustment, we will refer you to a trusted local alignment shop to get your alignment dialed in properly.

What if it's raining or the weather is bad?+

We prefer to work in covered locations such as garages or covered parking when weather is a concern. If you have a covered space, we can usually still make it work. We will always communicate with you ahead of time if conditions may affect your appointment.

Orders & Shipping
How long does shipping take?+

Shipping times vary by manufacturer. Most in-stock items ship within 1–3 business days. Since many of our performance parts are shipped directly from the manufacturer, delivery times can range from 5–10 business days depending on your location.

Can I cancel my order?+

Orders can be canceled if they have not yet been processed or shipped. A 5% cancellation fee applies to all approved cancellations to cover non-refundable transaction fees. Special orders and custom-built items cannot be canceled.

How do I track my order?+

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. If you have not received tracking information within 3 business days, please contact us and we'll look into it right away.

What if my order arrives damaged?+

Please document the damage with photos immediately upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours. We will work with the manufacturer or carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?+

Most new, unopened items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. A 20% restocking fee applies to all approved returns. Please see our full Return & Refund Policy for more details.

Can I return a part I already installed?+

Unfortunately, installed parts cannot be returned. All returns must be in new, unopened condition in the original manufacturer packaging.

How long does a refund take?+

Once a return is received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days back to your original payment method.

Installation & Service
Do I need to provide tools for the mobile service?+

Not at all! Our mobile service unit comes fully equipped with professional-grade tools, jacks, and equipment to perform high-quality suspension and brake work right in your driveway or garage.

Will aftermarket parts void my warranty?+

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer cannot void your entire warranty due to an aftermarket part. Only if the aftermarket part directly causes a failure can that specific repair be denied coverage. We use high-quality parts and professional installation techniques to ensure your vehicle remains safe and reliable.

How long does a typical suspension installation take?+

Most coilover or spring installations take between 2.5–5 hours depending on the vehicle and the parts being installed. We'll give you a more precise estimate when you book.

Do you offer a warranty on your labor?+

Yes. We stand behind our work. If you experience any issues directly related to our installation, contact us and we will make it right.
