TEIN Flex Z Coilovers (VSGP2-C1AA3-C) for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y RWD

Overview

The TEIN Flex Z VSGP2-C1AA3-C is a complete coilover kit for the rear wheel drive Tesla Model 3 (Standard Range and Standard Range Plus) and the Model Y RWD.

Flex Z uses a twin-tube damper for a comfortable street ride, a full-length ride height adjustment system that changes ride height without changing damper stroke or spring preload, and 16-level damping adjustment. It is compatible with TEIN's EDFC in-car damping controllers, which are sold separately.

TEIN recommends its EDFC controller for this kit because the rear damping adjusters are hard to reach by hand on these cars. For the Model Y, TEIN specifies different damper length settings, which are set during install.

Fitment

TEIN's application chart lists this kit for the 2017 to 2023 Model 3 Standard Range and Standard Range Plus RWD, the 2024 and newer Model 3 RWD, and the 2021 to 2025 Model Y RWD. It does not list the 2020 Model Y or the Model 3 Long Range RWD, and it does not name Juniper.
