HPS is proud to be the first to bring a bolt-in air intake system for the Infiniti M56/Q70 (Y51) to the market. The VK56VD 5.6L V8 powerplant is found across Nissan and Infiniti’s model lineup, but why hasn’t there been any aftermarket support for the Y51? While the rest of the world is limited to the 3.7L V6 engine, the North American market received a 5.6L V8 option for its top-of-the-line model. The VK56 was originally designed to be installed in trucks and SUVs, so for it to fit under the low hood line of the sedan, a low-profile dual inlet intake manifold similar to one found in the 370Z was produced specifically for the Y51.

The HPS Performance 827 Series Air Intake Kit (part number 827-688) unleashes your engine’s potential. HPS produced this intake system after countless iterations and hours of dyno testing. Its open-element design allows your engine’s induction sound to be heard through the included HPS Performance Air Filters. Dual 83mm intake pipes take the place of the old and brittle factory intake system. Custom Y51 specific heat shields integrate your over-the-radiator air duct for maximum cold air induction.
