A cold air intake kit for the Scion FR-S, Toyota GT-86, Subaru BRZ is one of the easiest and best upgrades you should do to your car. With this design, an integrated air scoop helps direct air directly to the air filter from the front of the bumper like the factory. The MAF sensor is positioned directly into the intake tube with proper tolerances to not affect reads that would require tuning. The intake tube does feature a blocked off sound tube connector. For those that wish to reuse the factory symposer, they can modify the end to connect the factory unit. This does not change performance but only affects interior cabin noise. The intake box is sealed with durable weather stripping and secured with matching black hardware. The intake features an Agency Power name plate on the front. Each kit utilizes a high flow cone air filter to not only breathe better than factory but is reusable for the life of the vehicle. This high flow cylindrical air filter features a much-improved flow rate over stock and designed to catch more particles compared to a paper mesh design. The filter features a vented end cap for ultimate air suction in the new air box. This is a dry filter that does not require any oiling which could potentially harm a MAF sensor.
